the best period of the year is now!Our mood is up,the weather is great and we feel more than sexy with our tanned and shiny ”us”.Finally we are one step away of the holidays we were planning all year.We are dreaming of golden beaches , sweat cocktails and delicious food.So far everything feels right and for sure we deserve it!Here are some tips to enjoy our vacation and stay happy , healthy and fit at the same time.
Ain’t no sunshine…
No big news for that.You know you have to apply a sunscreen that’s at least SPF 30 for your body and SPF 50 for your face.Don’t wait until you are outside , SPF needs a good 20 minutes to sink in before your skin is completely protected from UV.Also keep it fresh … We all have that leftover bottle of sunscreen lurking in the medicine cabinet, but it’s critical to start fresh each summer. The active ingredients in sunscreens can lose their potency, so check the expiration date.Here are my favorite:

Don’t Forget Your Diet
All year long you tried to have a balanced and healthy diet.You can stay to that concept and also enjoy your holidays.
1.Drink 2-3 litters of water so as to keep your body hydrated and your metabolism high
2.Prefer protein high and low carb meal .You can find chicken,turkey and fish everywhere.
3.Keep your alcohol consuming low .2 drinks are enough.
4.Avoid sugar at all cost.Prefer sugar free coffee and drinks.Choose healthy smoothies,fresh juices and iced sugar free tea.I know you die for a big portion of ice cream,instead of that you can try frozen yogurt.
5.Avoid eating after 9 o’clock.Your body goes automatically on flying mode and the calories you consume will stay there forever.
Be Fit & Fitter
There are many ways to continue your training habits while you are on holidays.If you ask me I always choose a hotel with a gym or sport facilities.But if you don’t have this choice you can do mini workouts in your room (in this blog you can find plenty of them).Also , a morning run can be a very good option – you will feel energized and toned.But the best choice for me is swimming.You burn tons of calories , you don’t sweat and you don’t need to carry your training clothes.
It doesn’t matter if you travel with your family , lover or friends.Try to relax and have fun.Keep your thoughts away from your problems and your daily routine.Do all the things you dreamed of and many more.Laugh loud , live the moment , take photos , tell jokes…Spend time with people you love.Do things you didn’t have the time to do.Sleep.You deserve it!Even if it is not what you expected , no worries , make it happen!Remember it is the journey that matters an not the destination!
